OK ya'll know Bob has a sense of humor, so I think his next ride should be created by Jessie James, of Monster garage (we'll tear him away from sandra bullock) then we will send the wagon to MTv's pimp my ride!.... then we will send Bob the Pimp my Trucker!
Hey Bob while your at the hospital, try and meet a nice little nurse!...LOL

I actually went to cmttv web page, joined the trick my truck web site and suggested they build Bob a new rv wagon. I know it is different than doing trucks, but these guys seem to get emotionally involved too and I bet they could really do the job!!!

To Autumnbrair: this is a link to the "Trick My Truck " web site , that Sharont referred to, don't know how to navigate it yet to put in such a request, prehaps she can help by telling us here.I tried to find her request,but couldn't. www.aboutus.org/Trick-My-Truck.com I was from Bob's home town and have a link to what he was doing and my own desires. We all hope he eventually makes a full recovery, both physically and mentally and can carry on with his lifes journey. It will just take some time. |

I just went to cmttv and signed into trick my truck forums and put it on there as I didnt see anywhere else to put it. But maybe, we have gotten ahead of ourselves as Bobs Mom is asking us to step back. She is right of course that we need to wait until Bob is recovered and decides what he wants to do. We are all just so glad he is alive and feel so darn helpless, Just want to replace what he lost that maybe we are jumping the gun. Sure dont want to put any more pressure on Bob than he already has.

Never having met Bob, but have followed his story since Central NY. I worry about the things that his family is not saying. I agree that a wagon at this time, may not be wise. I did think that if anyone had a used laptop they weren't using, he might find that useful while he is recovering. I would be lost with out mine. Of course maybe he's in a cast from head to toe too. It's just a thought. I think I read they had not found his.

His laptop was found and was returned to his sister last Thursday.

That is great news nwsgirl, I had hoped they got the computer back. Bob is in my thoughts 90% of the day. I am always checking this site for updates.

I dont think any of us want to push Bob into anything and I dont think he would let us. The first reports led everyone to believe his recovery was right around the corner. One reporter on Lakotahs blog said he would be in the hosp a week. Now as more comes out, we are all seeing his recovery is going to take longer and was hurt a lot more than we knew. We all just wanted to help Bob out and if we jumped the gun, we did it with the best intentions.

bob still has a long way to go but i don't think it would hurt to contact them seeing who bob wishes to continue, it wouldn't hurt to ask and have them contact Bob!

I think they only do this for people that live in California. Won't hurt to ask though. They can see all kind of pages of him in Google.
