Just found this on his site :Tuesday, he took his first couple of steps: www.wagonteamster.com/html/where_s_bob.html Dear Friends: The Skelding family cannot thank each of you enough for the out pouring of affection and prayers for Bob. As you may be aware, Bob was taken off the ventilator on Monday. Tuesday, he took his first couple of steps from the bed to a chair. He is recovering as well as can be expected. However, this is going to be long process. It will be some time before Bob is physically able to respond to your daily posts. I promise that Bob will bring the blog back up as soon as he is able to begin posting again. Until then, rest assured that all of your prayers are with us and Bob. Thank you so much.

That's great news about Bob. Also, there are two links for the newspaper in Meridian that have great photos and info there. Go to the wagonteamster.com and go to the Dynamic Maps page. It is the last blog on this page.
Also, does anyone know if Bob is aware of the two horses he lost and if not, does this mean he hasn't been able to read any of the cards sent to the hospital?

Great news! God is great!
Man hurt in horse-drawn wagon wreck improving February 24, 2009
Dispatch Staff Report
MERIDIAN — A New Hampshire man injured Feb. 10 when his horse-drawn recreational vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler on Highway 45 South is expected to be released from the hospital within the next few days, according to hospital authorities.
Deerfield, N.H., native Bob Skelding, 49, was transported to Rush Foundation Hospital to be treated for head injuries after the wreck near the Noxubee-Kemper county line.
Though Skelding originally was listed as critical, his condition has improved steadily during the past two weeks.
As of Monday, Skelding had been moved to an outpatient room. This morning, hospital officials predicted he likely would be released sometime this week.
Though two of Skelding’s horses, Deedee and Dollie, died after the accident, the two surviving horses, Doc and Joyce, have made a full recovery and will be transported to New Hampshire after Skelding’s release, his family members previously said.

Does anybody know where Bob is going? Back to NH? He sold his place last summer. I hate to see him go back and have to start all over again.

Was Bob released this week? It sounded like he was going to North Carolina when he got out.
