Date: 02/16/2009 Guest: 1 (Reference ID: 1764199) Name: barb skelding Email Address: kactuskidd@sbcglobal.net Where did you meet or see Bob?: he is my oldest son Comments: Hi Everyone,
Things I think are looking up. I haven't talked to my daughter, Cathy, but i did talk to Bob's nurse and he is improving dailey. He might be able to talk soon, we will see, but at GOD'S GRACE, HE IS ALIVE. Bob doesn't know Deedee and Dolly are gone yet, We haven't been able to communicate that to him and at this time, I don't think he needs to know that yet. Later would be better for him, you all know how he loved them so much. Clementine is with Cathy and her poodle, Muffin. Clementine is doing well. I wish I could tell you more, but that is all I have for the moment. Just know each and everyone of you, that your prayers have been answered. If anyone tells you that the power of prayer, does not matter, tell them, THINK AGAIN. And I want to say to Al, you wrote the most beautiful poem, that someday with be set to music, you better get a copyrighted. love you all.

You're right, what a beautiful poem, I couldn't help but cry. I never had the pleasure of meeting Bob or the team. Which is such a shame because they sauntered within a 1/4 mile from my farm! I first found out about Bob's journey when he went through the Little Falls, NY area. I had been looking in the local paper for my Grandmother's obituary as she had just passed. I felt that she led me to Bob's news article. Since that day I had always checked in to see his progress and to read what seems to be the only good news now days. His storys were always so uplifting. When I heard about the accident my heart sank. It felt like I had lost a good friend though I never had the pleasure to shake his hand. Bob, I hope you know how many people's lives you and your horses touched beyond those who you've met. If you every find yourself back in Avon, NY please don't let me miss you again. If there is anything we can do for you don't hesitate to ask. We are more than happy to asist you and your equine friends in anyway we can. Yes, thank you Barb for keeping us informed on Bob's improvement. I'm sure when he can talk the first thing he asks will be about the horses and Clem. I can't imagine how hard it is going to be to tell him and the blow it is going to be for him. It makes me want to start crying all over again.

Dear Friends:
The Skelding family cannot thank each of you enough for the out pouring of affection and prayers for Bob. As you may be aware, Bob was taken off the ventilator on Monday. Tuesday, he took his first couple of steps from the bed to a chair. He is recovering as well as can be expected. However, this is going to be long process.
It will be some time before Bob is physically able to respond to your daily posts. I promise that Bob will bring the blog back up as soon as he is able to begin posting again. Until then, rest assured that all of your prayers are with us and Bob.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for the news update. I am so glad to hear that Bob is improving. I check several times a day hoping to read and update on his condition. Even the guys in the office ask, "How's the horseman doing?" They know I'm a dedicated follower.
It was heart warming to see the pictures of Doc & Joyce in the pasture at the vet's farm. I am pleased to know that Clemetine is in the hands of family. Being a former owner of a 15 yr. old poodle, they are very sensitive little angels.
I'll continue to keep Bob in my prayers. Please post update as often as possible. You know he has a hugh "fan" base!
