After reading about this post, I felt this needed a special place of its own....... if you are interested in rebuilding Bobs wagon, join in or offere suggestions, I just wonder if Bob would have changed anything on his design!?

I would urge you to hold off until consulting Bob. He may not wish to continue. Should he want to go on, IMO a serious rethinking of the design is in order. The old wagon was just too big, too wide, too heavy and too slow. A complete new design, with new materials is I believe, in order.

I noticed a post from Bob's mother that while the family appreciates all of the offers of help, to please hold off on starting anything. A push for a new vehicle has got to come from Bob, and she mentioned that it's a long way away. As of now, he doesn't even know that two of his girls are gone.

I need to talk to you all about something that was mention in the Guest Book awhile back. i can't exactly remember who proposed the idea, but i do need i feel to address it for Bob for the time being. One, just wonderful person or persons, mention the idea of rebuilding Bob's RV. It is a lovely idea but, please don't get me wrong and we really appreciate the thought, but i think we need to wait till Bob is stronger and is able to cope with things now and before. You have to think, he has just lost a week of his life, and I feel that the jester, might make him think he has to do this when he would not be ready phyically and mentally. Maybe down a road abit, when he stronger and will take time, we could approach him then or perhaps he might mention it himself. Now i feel, it is not the right time to even mention it. I thank you for thoughts and wishes and caring, but please be patient with him and us. This comes from the family, and we do thank you much for caring. You all have become our family too. Please bear with us,as we too, have to take one day at a time and sometimes i get aliitle impatient. Patience, is very hard for me, but i am learning. love you all.

Things I think are looking up. I haven't talked to my daughter, Cathy, but i did talk to Bob's nurse and he is improving dailey. He might be able to talk soon, we will see, but at GOD'S GRACE, HE IS ALIVE. Bob doesn't know Deedee and Dolly are gone yet, We haven't been able to communicate that to him and at this time, I don't think he needs to know that yet. Later would be better for him, you all know how he loved them so much. Clementine is with Cathy and her poodle, Muffin. Clementine is doing well. I wish I could tell you more, but that is all I have for the moment. Just know each and everyone of you, that your prayers have been answered. If anyone tells you that the power of prayer, does not matter, tell them, THINK AGAIN. And I want to say to Al, you wrote the most beautiful poem, that someday with be set to music, you better get a copyrighted. love you all.

I think we were all so grateful Bob is alive and feel so helpless we got carried away with wanting to replace what he has lost. Of course, we need to back up and just pray for his recovery. He doesnt need any more pressure. God knows we are all just so wound up with praying and pulling for him.

Me too!! I think all of us know how horses get in our blood and I believe if and when Bob is able, He will want to be back on the road. Just after reading Barbs post, Thought maybe we were putting too much pressure on him. Know he has a long road ahead but Know how much this trip meant to him and he has touched so many lives.
