Good Aternoon Everyone,
Things are about the same with Bob. Nothing really new to tell. He is holding his own, I think from what Cathy, his sister tells me and I'm thankful for that. I wish I could give you more in details of his condition, but i really don't know, expect for what they tell me. I am no doctor or nurse, but I do trust they are doing everything they can and Bob will improve dailey. BUT IT WILL TAKE TIME. NOW IT IS JUST A WAIT AND SEE PROGRAM. Please continue your prayers, well wishes and messages as we thoroughly appreciate them and it will give Bob pleasure in reading them when he can. i will be late in posting tomorrow as i have to work, Monday and Tuesday, but i will do it when i get home. I am still in Michigan. thanks again, for all you do. Kindest Regards,
Barb Skelding, mother

Thanks Barb for the updates as we are all praying very hard for Bob and all of you and just waiting from one update to the next. Know it must be awfully hard not to be with him at this time. God bless and be with Bob and all of you. I have no doubt that He is as He had to reach down and pull Bob out of the wagon.

Thanks Barb! Thanks for all that you do in keeping us updated on Bob's condition. My Mom got to meet him and she gave him a piece of her artwork. She is a horse artist. She has been around horses for 60+ years of her life. She is an accomplished artist and admired Bob's courage and love for his animals along with meeting the good people across this great country of ours. I to, am an admirer of his journey especially his courage. I enjoyed very much reading his web site. I was very shocked when I checked the site just shortly after the accident. I notified my mom and others right away that Bob had contact with when he passed through Syracuse,NY. I also notified the local media who could spread the word even farther because I know there were others that felt inspired by Bob's journey. Barb,I can envision where Bob gets his courage from. You to are a very courageous woman!!! Cathy and Lisa hang in there because now the courage and inspiration that Bob has given to people through 9 states is now coming back to him. Bob when you read this I'd like you to know this"it ain't over until the fat lady sings" and there is absolutely no singing yet! There is more of life journey for you yet to do sir! My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family daily. Take those healing steps one at a time. I believe you'll make it! Lisa and Cathy "God Speed" to you for your courage and for being there by Bob to start the healing process. All of the best to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers to you! Thank you Barb for your updates. I met Bob here in Newport, NH when he stopped in for grain. I met up with him again a few days later and had the pleasure of riding Doc and visiting with the rest of the team as well as Clementine. Bob and I shared a bottle of wine and talked "horse" stuff for several hours.
Since then, I followed him daily and emailed him frequently. I have to say that I have become so attached to Bob and the team and getting daily updates on the horses and what was happening in his life, that now I, and many others, feel somewhat lost.
I pray daily for Bob's full recovery and wish away the hours until he can "blog" us all with his amusing stories.
If you happen to have any updates on the horses and Clementine, as well as Bob, please write them when you can. This must be a terrible shock to you and I'm sure it is tough being so far away from your son.
God Bless, Hayley Cummings LaValley Building Supply Newport, NH

Date: 02/16/2009 Guest: 1 (Reference ID: 1764199) Name: barb skelding Email Address: kactuskidd@sbcglobal.net Where did you meet or see Bob?: he is my oldest son Comments: Hi Everyone,
Things I think are looking up. I haven't talked to my daughter, Cathy, but i did talk to Bob's nurse and he is improving dailey. He might be able to talk soon, we will see, but at GOD'S GRACE, HE IS ALIVE. Bob doesn't know Deedee and Dolly are gone yet, We haven't been able to communicate that to him and at this time, I don't think he needs to know that yet. Later would be better for him, you all know how he loved them so much. Clementine is with Cathy and her poodle, Muffin. Clementine is doing well. I wish I could tell you more, but that is all I have for the moment. Just know each and everyone of you, that your prayers have been answered. If anyone tells you that the power of prayer, does not matter, tell them, THINK AGAIN. And I want to say to Al, you wrote the most beautiful poem, that someday with be set to music, you better get a copyrighted. love you all.
